Community invited to learn more about the Blue Mountains Hospital upgrades
The Blue Mountains community is being invited to learn more about the progress of upgrades underway at Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital.
The NSW Government is investing $25 million from the Restart NSW Fund to deliver essential upgrades at the existing Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital and undertake planning for a future hospital redevelopment.
The hospital upgrade works are due for completion later this year and will improve health facilities and service delivery for staff, patients and the local community.
At upcoming drop-in sessions, the community will have the opportunity to meet the project team, ask questions, and hear the latest news about the upgrades.

The enhancements include upgrades to:
- the Emergency Department
- Ambulatory Care services
- inpatient areas
- critical building infrastructure including roof repair, lift replacement and air conditioning systems.
Works are being carefully staged to minimise impact on hospital operations for patients, visitors and staff. Patient care and hospital services continue to operate during the upgrade works.
