Eurobodalla Regional Hospital construction update - Focus moves inside the hospital
With the hospital’s external structure now largely complete, construction activity has shifted primarily indoors.
Trades are currently busy installing internal walls, flooring, ceilings, and services to shape the clinical and support areas that will soon house patient care.
Outside the building, work continues on the new roundabout at the hospital entry, which will support safe and efficient access for patients, staff, and visitors. These works will continue over coming weeks, with traffic management in place to ensure the safety of road users.
Inside, the project team is also working closely with hospital staff to help them become familiar with their future workspaces. Through walk-throughs and planning sessions, staff are gaining a clear understanding of how clinical areas will function and how patient pathways will flow throughout the hospital. This engagement is an important step in preparing for activation and commissioning activities later in the year.
