Murrumbidgee Local Health District's (MLHD) community‑based services in Griffith have relocated to the refurbished Ambulatory Care Hub (ACH) on the Griffith Base Hospital campus.
The move is part of the $250 million Griffith Base Hospital Redevelopment and brings community‑based services together in one convenient location, making access to care easier for our community.
What’s changed?
- All MLHD Community Health services have moved from Yambil Street
- Transitional Aged Care Program and Aged Care Assessment Services have moved from Kookora Street
- Services are now located together in the ACH on the hospital campus.
- Entry is via Gate 8 on Noreebar Avenue, which is two driveways down from the Main Gate entry (Gate 7).
- Parking is available at the front of the building, with designated spaces for people with limited mobility.
Thank you to the community for your patience as we complete the final stages of this important redevelopment, which is expected to be completed in 2026.
