Health Infrastructure hosts 2026 Partner Briefing
Health Infrastructure hosted over 250 industry representatives at its annual online Partner Briefing this week, outlining the project pipeline, procurement opportunities and strategic direction for the new financial year.
The session was attended by project managers, architects, cost managers, professional services and contractors and provided an opportunity for attendees to ask questions of the Health Infrastructure executive.
“I always appreciate the chance to share where we are heading with industry, and to hear from those working with our teams across the portfolio. Close collaboration with delivery partners is vital to achieving successful outcomes for our system and communities” said Health Infrastructure’s Chief Executive Emma Skulander.
Over the four years to 2029-30, the Budget provides $11.9 billion for health infrastructure, with around 90 capital projects underway. A new focus over the coming years will be on asset upgrades, delivered through the $400 million Health Asset and Equipment Renewal Program.
Health Infrastructure's strategic direction is focused on strengthening internal capabilities and operational integrity, and delivering outcomes under key areas:
- Sustainability and innovation
- Safety and wellbeing
- Data and digitalisation.
The soon to be released Health Infrastructure Strategic Plan 2026-2030 will detail how these focus areas will be implemented across the organisation over the next five years.
