Inspiration for the Future Children's Hospital
National Aboriginal Design Agency and Sydney Children's Hospitals Foundation recently partnered to host a vision workshop with young hospital patients.
The outcomes of the initiative will help shape the exterior façade design of the future link bridge between the new children's hospital building and the Prince of Wales Hospital Acute Services Building (ASB).
Inspired by the Dreamtime stories of Aunty Lola, the design will incorporate the local Aboriginal totem of Buriburi, complementing existing arts components of the ASB and the proposed design of the future outdoor play space to be delivered as part of the new children's hospital project.
