Locals take a first look at the Blayney Multipurpose Service redevelopment
Nearly 100 locals had the chance to take a first look at the Blayney Multipurpose Service (MPS) redevelopment during last week’s community walk through, exploring the new facilities and services ahead of the staged opening.
The Blayney MPS redevelopment is the final project delivered under the NSW Government’s $297 million Multipurpose Service Program, which is enhancing access to modern, fit for purpose health facilities in smaller rural and remote communities.
Families of residents and community members toured the upgraded spaces, including the new residential aged care wing featuring single rooms with private bathrooms, additional inpatient unit beds, chair based services, and areas designed to support future expansion.
It was wonderful to see so many people admire the new light filled spaces and share their excitement for the improvements. The project team thanks everyone who attended and looks forward to welcoming the community back as the redevelopment progresses.
