Main works set to commence for Finley Health Service Redevelopment
Construction is underway on the $25 million Finley Hospital Redevelopment, marking a significant milestone in the delivery of enhanced health services for Finley and surrounding communities.
The NSW Government is investing $25 million to deliver an improved patient-focused service and enhanced models of care across all existing services at Finley Health Service.
Communities in Finley, Berrigan, Barooga, Tocumwal and Jerilderie will benefit from new and refurbished clinical spaces, which are being delivered as part of the redevelopment.
The Finley Hospital Redevelopment will include:
- New inpatient rooms
- A relocated medical imaging unit and a new ultrasound service
- An expanded and reconfigured reception area
- Improvements to the Emergency Department
- Essential service upgrades, including IT to provide a better-connected health service; and
- Improvements to staff facilities.
The hospital design has been informed by extensive feedback and consultation with staff, patients, aboriginal community representatives and the Local Health Advisory Committee.
Construction firm Barpa was recently appointed to deliver the works, with construction expected to be completed in 2027.
