Call for artists for the Moree Hospital Redevelopment
We're seeking artists interested in contributing to the Moree Hospital Redevelopment during 2026.
Artists with strong connections to the Moree region are invited to contribute to the arts program for the $105 million Moree Hospital Redevelopment, with Expressions of Interest (EOI) now open.
Artworks will feature in spaces throughout the new hospital to create a healing and supportive environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
There are a range of opportunities available for artists to contribute, including public and clinical spaces within the new hospital building.
As part of the arts program, a dedicated opportunity is available for an Aboriginal artist to create a ‘welcome artwork’ at the main entry, that aims to recognise the stories and identity of Aboriginal communities in the Moree region.
Artists at all stages of their career are invited to register their interest. Artists must have strong community links to the Moree region, include examples of previous artwork, and be available to work with the project team to deliver the artworks in 2026.
Health Infrastructure is partnering with regional arts development organisation, Arts North West, to launch the expression of interest. Partnering with Arts North West provides an exciting opportunity for artists to be supported to develop their professional capacity. Emerging artists are warmly encouraged to apply.
Artists are encouraged to reach out to Acting Executive Director, Miranda Heckenberg via email rado@artsnw.com.au or call 0493 316 463 if they would like support developing their submission.
The EOI will close on Friday, 31 October 2025. For further information and to register interest visit: Moree Hospital Redevelopment artist EOI
