Moree Hospital Redevelopment construction site expands
The construction site for the Moree Hospital Redevelopment has recently expanded to include the Crane and Glennie Building and Kiosk areas, which are being demolished as part of the redevelopment project.
Construction on the Moree Hospital Redevelopment is entering the next phase with all concrete pours completed and works commencing on the roof and internal wall partitions.
Demolition works have also commenced on the Crane and Glennie Building and the Kiosk. To farewell the buildings, the Moree United Hospital Auxiliary held a garage sale during early February with sales to be used to support the hospital, patients and staff.
With the expanded construction zone (see map), there is no longer access from Alice Street to the main hospital building. All pedestrian and vehicle access to the main hospital building is from Victora Terrace.
Access for the Picone, Mental Health and Executive Buildings, as well as Dental, Multipurpose Room, Crane and Glennie Room (formerley the Function Room) and the Kitchen remains via Alice Street.
Thank you for your support as construction progresses on the Moree Hospital Redevelopment.
