Celebrating NAIDOC Week 2025
During NAIDOC Week 2025, Health Infrastructure staff took part in a series of Aboriginal Heritage Walking Tours along the iconic Sydney Harbour foreshore.
Hosted by the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney, these guided tours offered our team a powerful and educational opportunity to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal culture, history, and connection to Country – led by cultural knowledge holders.
The experience reflects our ongoing commitment to our Reconciliation journey, where one of the key focuses has been to actively listen to, learn from, and collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders, partners, and communities.
As we continue to plan, design, and deliver culturally safe healthcare facilities across NSW, we recognise the significance of embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives into our work. Our Reconciliation Action Plan serves as a guiding framework to ensure our projects support respectful, inclusive, and culturally appropriate outcomes.
Health Infrastructure remains dedicated to meaningful Reconciliation, walking alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to build a more inclusive future in health infrastructure and beyond.
