Nepean Redevelopment construction update 19 June 2025
Summary of the latest construction activities on the Nepean Redevelopment campus.
Last week, we welcomed Member for Penrith Karen McKeown OAM on site to view construction progress of the more than $1 billion Nepean Redevelopment.
This included watching the Level 6 concrete pour at the new Stage 2 building with only two more levels to go before reaching the top of the structure.
The new building will seamlessly connect to the Building A tower and Building D, across several floors, improving access for patients, visitors and staff.

Internally, the builders have started removing the interior scaffolding of the three-storey atrium, as well as installing more structural steel and internal services such as mechanical, electric and hydraulics.
Walls and partitions have started being installed on Levels 0-2, with work on the exterior façade.
Did you know the building’s façade spans a total of 12,640 m²? That's equivalent to almost two football fields laid side by side!
Works are progressing on the hospital's new loading dock with blockwork now complete and the concrete slab being poured next week.
Construction is also well underway on a new purpose built Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Unit for young people aged 12-17.
Internally, the different spaces are taking to shape with the plasterboard walls and ceilings underway and the installation of internal services are ongoing. Works are progressing on the external facade.
Next to the CAMHS building, a new Total Asset Management (TAM) building is being built with two of the three concrete pours now complete. The asset management team is responsible for management and maintenance of hospital buildings and assets like gas, water, electricity supply.
Thank you for your support and patience as we progress Stage 2 of the Nepean Redevelopment.
