Over the past 12 months, the new $330 million Eurobodalla Regional Hospital has truly taken shape, transforming from early foundations to a three-storey structure that will deliver modern healthcare closer to home.
Building progress so far
- Major concrete pours are almost complete, marking the end of the structural phase for key clinical and patient areas.
- The new access road and carpark are complete, and work is well underway on the access roundabout from the Princes Highway.
- Over the coming months the final structural works will be finished
- Work will soon shift to the detailed interior fit-out
- By the end of the year, the new building will reach another major milestone when the structure is completed and the roofs are placed on the buildings.
Health staff are already preparing for the transition into the new hospital, working through the final designs of rooms to ensure the spaces will support safe, efficient, and patient-centred care from day one. Move preparations have also begun at Moruya Hospital, with the assets team starting to clear out old storage spaces.
The project remains on track for completion in 2027.
