Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Redevelopment Meet the Team
We continue to share the stories of the people working tirelessly to bring this transformation to life. Our Meet the Team profiles highlight the expertise and dedication behind the Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital Redevelopment

Introducing John Choi
Graduate, Health Infrastructure
I joined Health Infrastructure in February 2025 as part of the Graduate Program, with RPA Redevelopment as my first rotation. Currently, I’m supporting the Cumberland West Mental Health Relocation project alongside the RPA Redevelopment for my second rotation.
I’m proud to be part of a team where everyone is working toward the same goal, to deliver the best possible outcomes for consumers and staff.
One of my favourite aspects of my role is being entrusted with the Fittings, Fixtures and Equipment Transfer Audit for RPA. This task allows me to dive into the details of different departments and understand the design finalisation process for various rooms and their functions. Visiting these spaces gives me insight into the needs of both consumers and staff, and it’s rewarding to see how my audit influences the new design.
In my role I ensure that the details and reporting are accurate, reducing uncertainty in design and budget. This enables more informed decision-making for the project.
I’m excited to see the new tower and extensions completed and to witness the departments I’ve worked on being completed. Seeing the real-world impact of my contributions will be incredibly rewarding.
Being funnily stupid.
