How will this work affect you?
We recognise that building new infrastructure can be disruptive to nearby residents, businesses and road users. All construction activities are carried out with the health and safety of the local community as our top priority.
We endeavour to keep noise, dust and vibration to a minimum and we will make every effort to minimise impacts by:
- planning work effectively to reduce impact from machinery and construction activities,
- scheduling respite periods during high-level noise activities,
- turning off machinery and vehicles when not in use,
- using on-site monitoring stations for air quality, noise and vibration levels.
We will monitor and manage access points throughout construction and may implement short term traffic control management and speed limit reductions when required. For your safety, please follow the directions of traffic controllers at all times.
