The NSW Government has committed $12.4 billion over the next four years to deliver new and upgraded hospitals and health facilities across the state.
On Thursday 3 July 2025, Health Infrastructure hosted a Partner Briefing with industry to share insights on our forward capital program, strategic priorities, and upcoming procurement opportunities.
The session outlined our focus areas for the financial year ahead, including:
- Efficiency measures including streamlined planning approval, design and consultation processes
- Environmental sustainability.

Our procurement process
Heath Infrastructure invites suppliers interested in health capital works procurement opportunities to register as a supplier on the NSW Government’s tendering website Buy.nsw and apply for pre-qualification schemes relevant to Health Infrastructure’s portfolio.
Information about successful tenderers is published online once tenders are awarded and can be accessed through the NSW Government’s tendering website Buy.nsw.
Apply for the Construction Services Procurement List
Health Infrastructure invites construction contractors (builders) with the right culture, experience, capacity, and capability to express interest in joining the Construction Services Procurement List (HICPL).
This list comprises contractors/builders capable of meeting construction and related works requirements, with estimated values of over $9 million, for major health capital work projects across NSW.
The categories covered under HICPL include:
- hospital building works (includes Early Contractor Involvement)
- civil works
- fit out and refurbishment
- demolition
- car park - multistorey
- ambulance stations
- modular health building supply and install
- utility infrastructure.
Contractors can access information on the application for this Expression of Interest on the buy.nsw website.
Note: Pre-qualification of a contractor does not extend to related, associated or subsidiary business entities owned or controlled by the contractor or its joint ventures to which the contractor is a party.
Professional services procurement
Construction related professional services consultants are generally invited to tender for Health Infrastructure projects based on their pre-qualification for appropriate service types on 2 NSW pre-qualification schemes:
- SCM1191 - Consultants in Construction up to $9 Million Scheme
- SCM10611 - Consultants in Construction above $9 Million Procurement List
Statements of Participation
Health Infrastructure regularly conducts early market soundings, known as Statements of Participation, to gauge industry interest in upcoming projects and packages.
We invite pre-qualified builders and professional services in key disciplines to participate in Statements of Participation.
