Reintegration Housing Support Program
The Reintegration Housing Support Program (RHSP) supports people exiting custody who are at risk of experiencing homelessness to secure and sustain long-term housing.
RHSP is delivered by the Community Restorative Centre (CRC), a NSW community organisation that provides a range of services to people involved in the criminal justice system and their families.
RHSP provides wrap-around psychosocial support to improve the wellbeing of people exiting custody, with the aim of reducing recidivism and homelessness. The Program provides specialist caseworker support to people exiting custody who are at risk of experiencing homelessness to access housing and sustain their tenancies.
The RHSP client cohort includes people exiting adult custody who are at risk of experiencing homelessness or people who have served a custodial sentence in the previous four weeks who are experiencing homelessness.
RHSP operates within six Homes NSW offices across NSW including Strawberry Hills, Mount Druitt, Liverpool, Dubbo, Coniston and Newcastle.
