Key information for applicants
If you’re applying for housing in these suburbs, you will need to have a criminal record check conducted by NSW Police. This check will look at any drug-related convictions within the past 5 years.
If you have a drug-related conviction in the past 5 years, you will not be eligible for housing in Redfern, Waterloo, Surry Hills or Glebe. You may still qualify for properties in other Inner City locations.
Providing consent
If you agree to the record check, please complete and submit the Inner City Local Allocation Strategy form.
You can return it:
In person: Ground floor, 219-241 Cleveland Street Strawberry Hills
By email:innercitysupport@facs.nsw.gov.au
By mail: PO Box K100 Haymarket NSW 1240
