In 2014, the NSW Government announced the sale of properties in Millers Point, Dawes Point and The Rocks, with proceeds to be reinvested into the delivery of more new social housing across NSW.

New homes funded by Millers Point

Construction of new social housing properties funded through the Millers Point sales program began in 2015.

The program was completed in March 2025 and delivered 1,904 new social homes across 39 Local Government Areas.
