Global tech company chooses NSW for quantum expansion
BTQ Technologies Corp is a quantum technology company listed on Canada’s NEO Exchange and based in Vancouver. The company develops secure systems for critical networks using quantum algorithms and computing.
In 2022, BTQ partnered with Macquarie University on a project called Quantum Proof-of-Work. The goal was to make blockchain systems more energy-efficient. The success of this project led BTQ to explore a broader presence in NSW.
