From Sydney startup to global payment provider
EzyRemit is a financial technology company that offers real-time international payments. Founded in 2020, it began with a small team in Sydney and now:
- operates six offices globally
- has over 70 staff
- serves clients in more than 140 countries.
In 2023, EzyRemit was named one of the Fast Starters by The Australian Financial Review.
Support through Investment NSW
Since 2021, Investment NSW has supported EzyRemit’s export journey in Southeast Asia by:
- promoting its services to international partners
- facilitating new business connections
- supporting its participation in major fintech events.
EzyRemit joined the NSW stand at the Singapore FinTech Festival. There, it showcased its capabilities and connected with potential partners.
Major fintech partnerships and international growth
With Investment NSW’s support, EzyRemit secured key agreements:
In Indonesia
- signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with digital payment provider Faspay in 2023
- combined Faspay’s payment technology with EzyRemit’s global remittance networks.
In Vietnam
- introduced to partners by Investment NSW, including Vietcombank
- signed an MoU and set up an office in Ho Chi Minh City.
EzyRemit now uses its Vietnam base to grow its business across Southeast Asia and beyond.
