Bioprinting innovation made in Sydney
Inventia Life Science is a Sydney-based biotech company creating world-leading bioprinting technology. For over 10 years, it has built advanced tools for medical and research use. These tools help grow 3D cell models and human tissue.
Inventia’s technology supports breakthroughs in drug development, tissue repair and regenerative medicine.
Advanced 3D printing platforms
Inventia recently launched two major technologies:
- RASTRUM™ Allegro – a second-generation bioprinter. This device is designed to improve scalability, reproducibility and efficiency in research. It went from idea to commercial release in just 12 months.
- LIGO™ – a surgical tool for in-situ tissue reconstruction. This tool enables doctors to rebuild soft tissue layers directly at the site of treatment. It's the first device of its kind.
Both devices are designed and manufactured at Inventia’s facility in Alexandria, Sydney.
Global reach, local support
Inventia’s platforms are used by:
- top researchers
- leading global pharmaceutical companies in the United States, Europe and Asia.
The NSW Government has supported Inventia through:
- funding for clinical trials
- expansion of its Sydney manufacturing facility
