Premium food and wine from the Southern Highlands
PepperGreen Estate is based in the Southern Highlands of NSW and operates a cellar door in Berrima. The business produces cool-climate wines, boutique gins and premium olive oil. All products use locally grown ingredients.
Export support and capability building
PepperGreen Estate received tailored support from Investment NSW to grow international sales. This included:
- advice on export pricing, freight and logistics, and regulatory requirements
- participation in the NSW Export Capability Program, where staff learned the fundamentals of international trade.
This support helped the business build internal expertise to scale exports sustainably.
Expanding into Asia with Going Global
In 2024, PepperGreen Estate joined the Going Global Export Program: Food and Beverage to Korea, drawing on support from NSW’s international trade network.
The company also took part in global trade events supported by the NSW Government. Events include: FOODEX Japan, FHA Singapore, Seoul Food & Hotel (South Korea) and Taiwan Showcase.
Export wins in Japan and new airline partnership
Thanks to this support, PepperGreen Estate:
- secured its first export to Japan in late 2024, with olive oil and gin shipped to a new customer
- began working with a major Chinese airline, a relationship formed during the Taiwan Showcase.
These international wins are helping the business grow its brand and sales across Asia.
