On behalf of the Central West Local Land Services (LLS) board and staff, I am pleased to present our 2025 Local Annual Achievement Report. This year has been marked by strong progress across all core service areas, supported by collaboration, innovation, and a continued commitment to our communities and landscapes.
Throughout 2025, Central West LLS continued to build strong momentum across both strategic and operational fronts. Our disciplined approach to team planning and program delivery ensured we remained focused on achieving meaningful regional outcomes while staying responsive to emerging needs.
We strengthened engagement with government, industry, community partners, and key stakeholders, deepening our understanding of regional challenges and enabling more targeted and practical solutions. Importantly, our relationships with Aboriginal communities continued to grow, providing valuable cultural guidance and enhancing the way we shape and deliver services across the region.
Landholders continued to seek our services across animal biosecurity and welfare, agricultural production, natural resource management—including natural capital profiles, cultural heritage, weed management, and pest control. These programs supported landholder capability, improved landscape health, and reinforced regional preparedness.
Standout achievements for the year included the successful implementation of the 2025 Feral Pig Program. The program delivered measurable outcomes across priority areas, strengthened regional biosecurity systems, and demonstrated the value of coordinated, community‑led pest management. In addition, a growing number of producers participated in PROGRAZE™ and related programs, helping to strengthen business resilience and improve pasture and livestock outcomes across the region.
These achievements reflect the dedication, capability, and collaborative spirit of our staff, partners, and communities. Together, we remain focused on supporting resilient, productive landscapes across the Central West.
