The Aboriginal Farming Forum is a dynamic event bringing together indigenous and non-indigenous farmers, Local Aboriginal Land Councils, Landcare groups, Council and Local Land Services to strengthen relationships, share knowledge and foster collaboration.
Event details:
Join South East Local Land Services for a day of learning, discussion and connection.
At this event, attendees will:
Explore Aboriginal cultural land management practices, including cool burning and cultural site identification.
Hear lived experiences from Aboriginal farmers and landholders integrating culture into modern farming.
Learn how partnerships between landholders, Aboriginal groups, Council, Landcare and LLS can support healthy Country and stronger community connections.
Gain insights into Aboriginal recognition, inclusion and opportunities to work together for environmental, cultural and agricultural outcomes.

Jim Osborne of Yambulla on his experience working in partnership with Aboriginal groups.
