Event details:
Join Central West Local Land Services for a hands-on session tackling feral pigs and pests along the Bogan River!
This practical workshop will outline the Feral Pig and Pest Program (FPPP), covering ground control, contractor support, and the potential for an aerial control program.
At the session you’ll:
Meet our ground contractors and guest speakers from FeralScan.
See how trapping, baiting, and shooting methods are used on the ground.
Learn how to use FeralScan to report and monitor activity.
Gain practical insights into pest control strategies tailored to the Mungery and Dandaloo areas.
Hear how the broader FPPP will support coordinated pest management.
This is your chance to be part of a coordinated effort to reduce feral pig and pest impacts and take away practical tools to protect your property and strengthen biosecurity across the region.
Who should attend: Public and private land managers are encouraged to attend.
