Overview of this event
Join this two-day workshop to get real figures for carbon and biodiversity projects for your farm, including a business assessment of commercial opportunities
Event details:
Murray Local Land Services has partnered with Renovo Ag, an independent, science-based advisory firm, to run a Natural Capital Economics farm planning workshop.
You will receive two economic feasibility reports for your farm - assessing your biodiversity and carbon opportunities (valued at $2,000 each). These will evaluate potential profit margins and provide economic modelling tailored to your farm, as well as site assessment suitability.
This workshop will provide clear information and economic analysis at the farm level, helping you answer:
Can I actually make money off carbon and biodiversity?
Can it help my farm productivity or business resilience?
What are the risks involved and can I overcome these?
Will it help safeguard my market access?
The two-day workshop will cover NSW Biodiversity Credits, Soil Carbon projects, and Environmental Planting projects.
Workshop dates:
Session 1: Thursday 30th April, 9:30 am - 2:00 pm
Session 2: Thursday 14th May, 9:30 am - 2:00 pm
Please note: you need to attend both workshops.
Additional details:
Spaces are limited to 10 businesses. Up to 3 people can attend per business.
In order to receive the feasibility report, businesses will be required to provide property boundaries.
