Hands-on, informative event designed to empower private land managers to protect and enhance koala habitat across our region.
Event details:
Join South East Local Land Services, the NSW Koala Strategy, Landcare, and the community to enhance and protect koalas and their habitat.
Get your hands dirty helping plant some koala habitat trees, then hear all the project updates on koala surveys, tracking, and disease analysis.
Watch a thermal drone demonstration and learn about fire management and citizen science. There will be free handouts, including koala habitat and feed trees and a delicious free morning tea and lunch
Land managers and community members will have the opportunity to come for a session or for the day
