Join Murray Local Land Services for a webinar exploring the latest pasture growth outlooks and practical grazing strategies for a potentially short, warm and dry spring.

With warm conditions prevailing since April, pastures and crops are racing ahead of the usual time frames, though many locations still have plenty of profile water. With the possibility of a bob-tail spring, how can you manage pastures to prolong quality growth and utilise that moisture.

Speakers will cover:

• an overview of what the Murray Farming Forecaster sites are predicting for pasture growth
• what the Farming Forecaster soil moisture probes are showing and the implications
• what the warm conditions mean for pasture/crop maturity and fodder quality
• what are your grazing options to keep quality pasture in the paddock
• what options if the spring closes out.
