Overview of this event
Hands-on feral pig management workshop for the Creewah and Glen Allen communities - local focus, practical skills, real results.
Event details:
South East Local Land Services invites you to stay on after the Creewah RFS Meeting and enjoy a delicious lunch, then roll up your sleeves for a hands‑on feral pig management workshop with local pig trapper Rodney Rankin and Bombala Biosecurity Officer Tom Lam.
This practical session will explore:
how to set and use pig traps effectively
the benefits of working together as a community to manage feral pigs
how LLS can support you with advice, tools, and on‑ground assistance.
This is a great opportunity to share local knowledge, learn what works, and start planning a coordinated approach to managing feral pigs across Creewah and Glen Allen.
Bring your neighbours along – the more involved, the better the outcome!
Additional details:
Lunch will be provided from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm
BYO chair, hat, water bottle and appropriate clothing for outdoor activities.
Morning tea, lunch and refreshments will be provided.
This workshop will be held on farm – biosecurity protocols will be communicated prior to the event.
