Fruit fly management workshop Broken Hill

This workshop will provide backyard gardeners, growers, landholders and community members with a valuable opportunity to receive the latest updates on the Queensland Fruit Fly (QFF). 

Event details:

The workshop, hosted by Western Local Land Services, will be led by renowned entomologist Andrew Jessup and Dr. Salman Quddus (LLS), offering expert insights on managing QFF. It will also include discussions, hands-on demonstrations, and networking opportunities for the community.

The workshop will cover several important topics, including:

• QFF identification and seasonal considerations  

• management strategies for your garden  

• innovative control methods  

• biosecurity practices for protecting your backyard.
