Join staff from Central West Local Land Services, BirdLife Australia, and Alkane Gold Mine for an informative morning, followed by a tree planting to help restore Glossy habitat.

Keen to learn more about the much‑loved Glossy Black-Cockatoos of the Central West?
Come along to this workshop where you will learn and hear from:
Birdlife Australia's Jayden Gunn on how to identify Glossy Black Cockatoos and understand their habitat, feeding tree, and nesting tree needs.
How to support Glossies by planting preferred feed and nesting trees that will help restore local habitat. Clontarf Academy students from Narromine will carry out the planting. All attending the workshop are welcome to join in.
Central West Local Land Services Biosecurity staff on practical tips for managing feral pigs and foxes on your property.

This is a free event.
The morning session will include morning tea; Lunch will be provided for those keen to plant.
Please bring a water bottle, wear suitable outdoor clothing and a hat.
