Join Central Tablelands Local Land Services for this annual event, a partnership of key agencies supporting commercial landholders to make informed decisions for mixed farming as the sowing season approaches.
Key presenters include:
Colin McMaster, NSW DPIRD, Canola Establishment - Discussing effective canola establishment techniques, from seed rate to soil preparation, ensuring optimal germination and early growth.
Tony Swan and John Kirkegaard, CSIRO Mixed Farming Trial update - Sharing the latest in farming systems research, focusing on integrated crop-livestock systems, soil health, and economics.
Lachlan Jeffers, MLA Red Meat market - Discussing the domestic and global red meat market outlook.
Emily Johnstone, Local Land Services livestock health update - Covering seasonal issues for livestock production and new industry threats.
Local agronomist panel, Mich Small, Geoff Minchin and Jenna Brewis- Opportunity to ask about the results of last season's cropping wins and failures.
