Join this three-part Land Literacy workshop series to gain the knowledge and tools to better understand, assess, and improve the natural assets on your land.

Event details:

North Coast Local Land Services invites you to the Land Literacy workshop series, designed to help you build practical skills for managing and enhancing your property’s natural assets.

Who are these workshops for?

• Land managers who want to better understand their land to improve landscape function, ecological condition and productive potential.

• Land managers interested in measuring and tracking the condition of their natural assets, such as vegetation, water bodies and broader landscape health as a base for future planning.

• Land managers looking for clear, up-to-date information about emerging environmental markets so they can make informed decisions.

• Gain exposure to leading regional practitioners in regenerative agriculture and ecosystem rehabilitation.  

• Refresh your understanding of your catchment and its natural assets.

• Make the most out of your land by understanding its foundational assets, limitations and potential opportunities for gaining from improved management.

Course delivery:

This is a three-part workshop series which will occur on:

• Thursday, 13 August - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

• Thursday 27 August- 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

• Thursday 10 September- 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

 Please note: Attendance at the first workshop is required to join the other two workshops.

Additional details: Morning tea, lunch, and refreshments will be provided each day.
