Learn to identify and prevent livestock diseases, choose the right vaccines, and safely store and administer them for healthier, more productive herds.
Event details:
Join Northern Tablelands Local Land Services District Vets and Brad Hine from Allied Rural Marketing for a practical workshop on preventing production losses from endemic livestock diseases through effective vaccination.
This free workshop will cover key topics, including:
identifying and managing endemic livestock diseases
types of vaccines and how they work
key vaccines for cattle and sheep
safe handling and administration of vaccines
vaccination storage
hands on demonstration
This event is being run as part of the Ladies in Livestock network for women in agriculture in the Northern Tablelands. Similar workshops are also being held in Tenterfield, Walcha and Inverell.
