Join Livestock Officer Teresa Hogan, District Veterinarian Leanne Polson, Sustainable Agriculture Officer Hannah Botta, and local livestock agent Dave Callaughan at Krambach Hall for Round 2 of the Livestock Roadshow.
This practical session will focus on managing livestock through a tight winter, with expert local insights to help you make confident, informed decisions.
Topics covered include:
the current seasonal outlook
assessing paddock feed to understand how long stock can be grazed
determining what supplements to use and how much to feed based on production goals and pasture quality
current animal health issues affecting the region
a local market outlook to support buy, sell or hold decisions.
