Join Murray Local Land Services for a feral rabbit management workshop. Learn control strategies, proofing tips, and trapping techniques for properties of all sizes.
Event details:
The Murray region is facing a growing population of wild rabbits, particularly in the Murray Downs area. Our Invasive Species Team is working with landholders - from large agricultural properties to small residential blocks - to help manage this problem.
At this workshop, you’ll learn:
the rabbit lifecycle and why populations thrive
effective control strategies for different property sizes
backyard proofing tips
trapping and baiting techniques for larger holdings.
