Hear from Dr Richard Hayes, Senior Research Scientist at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD), who will discuss the latest research and advice on soil pH and liming applications.
Event details:
Come along and join the Central Tablelands Local Land Service to hear from Dr Richard Hayes about the current research into acid soils.
Topics include:
Do you know what your soil pH is and where it should be?
Is your soil pH affecting your pasture production?
What soil pH should we be aiming for, and what liming rates should we be applying?
Is it ok to top dress with lime or do we need to incorporate it?
Come along and ask questions to ensure you are able to make informed decisions about your production system.
