Overview of this event
Join Riverina Local Land Services for Mastering Silage, a three-day training program designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to produce top-quality silage throughout the 2026 season and into the future.
Event details:
Three days of expert training with Top Fodder specialist to help you master the 2026 silage season.
The training will be facilitated by Top Fodder specialist Neil Griffiths in collaboration with industry partners. The course will follow the Top Fodder Silage Manual and cover key topics such as the principles of silage, its role in farm systems, feed quality fundamentals, crop selection, silage production and storage, use of additives, feeding strategies, and economic considerations.
With a focus on all key stages, including feed out, sowing, and harvest, this course combines in-the-paddock practical sessions with technical-based training for both pit and bale silage to ensure you can apply what you learn directly on-farm. This is a great professional development opportunity for new employees and experienced farmers alike.
Don’t miss this opportunity! Registrations are essential, and places are limited. Further details will be emailed prior to each training day.
