Overview of this event
Learn how the natural assets on your property can increase your farm’s income. Learn how to calculate your farm emissions, improving your farm’s efficiency.
Event details:
Join South East Local Land Services and Shoalhaven Landcare for a workshop and paddock walk that will:
explore how natural assets contribute to farm profitability and resilience
understand your eligibility for environmental markets
discover how farm emissions data links to production efficiency and sustainability
learn how to protect cultural heritage sites on-farm.
After lunch we will visit a stunning Upper Kangaroo Valley property featuring Illawarra Lowland Red Gum Grassy Forest, South Coast Ranges Moist Gully Forest and high‑condition Illawarra‑Shoalhaven Subtropical Rainforest. The property supports over 100 native plants. The paddock walk will highlight both the property’s ecological and cultural values and on‑ground management considerations.
This event is designed for local producers and/or landholders with a conservation focus who want to better underst and and enhance the natural assets on their property.
This is a great opportunity to gain practical knowledge and take steps toward improving your farm’s environmental and economic outcomes.
