Pasture and weed identification workshop Halls Creek

Join North West Local Land Services for an informative and hands-on pasture and weed identification event and paddock walk.  A biosecurity weeds officer from Tamworth Regional Council will also be in attendance to answer questions about weeds and management.

This hands-on event will help you: 

• learn to identify local grasses and weeds, as well as palatability, nutritional value and any toxicity issues

• gain practical knowledge on how to manage your pastures to maintain diversity and good groundcover.

Whether you’re new to pasture management or want to sharpen your identification skills, this workshop offers valuable insights in a friendly, supportive environment. Register now to secure your spot!

• bring along any pasture grasses or photos of weeds you want help identifying

• a chair

• sturdy shoes, hat, and sunscreen for outdoor conditions
