Pest animal workshop Mungindi

If you are a landholder in the Mungindi and Boomi area please join North West Local Land Services invasive species pest team for a workshop learning about the different methods of pest animal control and monitoring that can be used on your property.

Topics covered at the workshop include:

• practical pig control

• pig ecology and behaviour

• importance of free feeding

• trapping techniques and trapping display

• baiting options

• diseases and safe handling

• an update on the aerial control project

• a private contractor on site to discuss control methods.

Additional details: Morning tea on arrival and lunch to be provided.
