Practical pest animal control day

Central Tablelands Local Land Services and Capertee Valley Landcare are excited to present a practical day for the control of feral pigs and other pest animals.

Event details:

Are feral pigs, foxes or feral dogs becoming a problem on your property? Join us for a practical field day designed to give landholders the skills and knowledge to get on top of pest animal issues this winter.

Together with Capertee Valley Landcare, we’re hosting a hands‑on workshop at a property managed by a landholder with extensive on‑ground pest control experience.

You’ll learn how to:

• understand the environmental impacts of feral pigs and other pest species

• set up and operate a Pig Brig® trap

• feed and condition pigs for successful trapping or baiting

• use trail cameras effectively for monitoring

• respond to fox and wild dog activity

• connect with neighbours and coordinate pest control across properties.

Come along, meet your neighbours, learn practical skills and enjoy a BBQ lunch.
