Join Western Local Land Services for two inspiring days in Cobar to build business skills, network with peers and service providers, explore young farmer group opportunities, and tour Geandale and Etiwanda Stations.
Event details:
Please join us for this 2-day event, full of learning and networking. Are you 18–45 years or interested in how the next generation can be successful farmers? If so, this workshop is for you!
Day 1: Workshop - 9:30 am - 4:00 pm, including dinner at 6:00 pm
Bank Ready and Business Ready - Farm Business Resilience Program.
Network with local service providers.
Profitability in the rangelands – Agrista.
Climate and feed forecasting – Ag360.
Future climate considerations – DPIRD.
Opportunities for a young farmer group – Central West Young Aggies.
Day 2: Property tours - 8:30 am - 1:00 pm
Visit Geandale and Etiwanda Stations to gain practical insights into starting and managing successful rangeland enterprises.
