Overview of this event
How do I rebuild my herd after drought? This is the question that led to the Rapid Herd Recovery project, which aimed to evaluate how current and emerging breeding technologies could be utilised to optimise herd rebuilds and maximise genetic investment post drought.
The day will also cover the recently completed ‘Decide and Thrive’ project, which aimed to assist graziers with decisions regarding which animals to keep and which animals to cull to ensure optimal recovery and productivity post drought.
