Join this hands-on training opportunity to learn how to identify, search for and monitor the critically endangered Regent Honeyeater in the Hunter region, as part of an active monitoring program.
Event details:
Hunter Local Land Services invites you to take part in these workshops, where you will:
Build skills and knowledge to confidently search for, identify and record Regent Honeyeaters.
Connect with others who share a passion for protecting and improving biodiversity.
Contribute to an active monitoring program undertaking Regent Honeyeater surveys in the Hunter region.
Receive a field identification booklet to support your learning.

Workshop 1: Tuesday 2 June 2026, 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Morning tea provided.
Please wear appropriate attire for outdoor activity, including closed-in footwear and sun protection (as needed).
