Overview of this event
This workshop, hosted by North Coast Local Land Services, is open to landholders in preparation for the rye grass growing season. Learn about nitrogen management and the results of seed treatments in the Hunter region.
Event details:
Landholders and managers are welcome to attend a day of learning and updates from Local Land Services and private industry (including seed reps) on rye grass management, animal health, and fall army worm.
Topics include:
nitrogen management through the season
pasture varieties update
Fall Army Worm update and identification
use of drones in fertiliser and seed spreading
seasonal animal health update from your local district vet.
