Half-day workshop covering sheep nutritional requirements, feed and water tests, confinement/small paddock feeding, maintaining condition, and supplementation.

Join Western Local Land Services for a half-day sheep supplementation and nutrition workshop in Bourke.

This event is for landholders:

• supplementary feeding sheep

• considering confinement feeding

• or just wanting further advice on sheep nutrition.

• Early weaning of lambs.

• Feeding and joining sheep in confinement.

• Useful feed tools and calculators.

Kieran Smith – LLS Livestock Advisor

• Nutritional requirements of different classes of sheep.

• Getting the best bang for your buck when purchasing feed.

Jazz Beddows – LLS Land Services Officer

• Collecting and interpreting feed and water tests (free feed and water tests available on the day).
