Overview of this event
Learn how to add value to your farm business by using sheep and goat electronic identification (eID) devices to record data about production and animal health.
Event details:
Join Murray Local Land Services for a practical workshop for producers wanting to get started with recording data using sheep and goat eID devices.
You’ll learn about NLIS requirements for sheep and goats, and how to use eIDs to collect and manage valuable on-farm data. Sally Martin from SheepMetrix will guide you through setting up equipment and capturing accurate, consistent data.
Hear from local producers as they share their experiences, including their successes and lessons learned using eID.
Additional details: Morning tea and lunch provided.
Contact: Linda Searle, District Veterinarian via email at: linda.searle@lls.nsw.gov.au or on 0427629740.
