Join Hunter Local Land Services for a dedicated sheep and goat session designed especially for smallholders and anyone thinking about adding sheep and/or goats to their property.
Event details:
This session will cover the essentials you need to keep your animals healthy and compliant with new regulations, including:
an overview of current sheep and goat electronic identification (eID) requirements
best‑practice worm control and drenching,
recognising and responding to emergency and exotic diseases that threaten small ruminants.
Chat with and learn directly from your local District Vet (DV), Anna Gourley, supported by LLS’s goat-guru and DV (Maitland), Kylie Greentree, along with DV Team Leader, Jim Kerr.
Bring your questions and build confidence in caring for your flock or herd with guidance from our experts.

A light morning tea and lunch will be provided.
