Overview of this event
Join Local Land Services and the DPIRD Climate Applications Team for an online seasonal update designed to support NSW producers as they plan for the months ahead. This webinar is ideal for producers who are wanting to better understand the climate and seasonal information available to guide farm decisions.
The presentations will cover:
- current seasonal conditions and forecasts for April - June 2026
- how to interpret and use the NSW Combined Drought Indicator
- short term drought indicators, remote sensing, and how you can monitor conditions using FarmTracker
- how weather and climate forecasts can be applied to real on‑farm planning.
Producers will leave with practical insights and tools to help manage seasonal risk and make more informed business decisions.
The Drought Adoption Officer program is supported by Southern NSW Innovation Hub, through funding from the Australian Government’s Future Drought Fund.
